Worship Service/Communion

While I have been working in the office, there have been people from the community who have stopped by in need of food and gas. The SPRC and Finance Committee has agreed that we should start a Discretionary Fund for what is needed to help people stay afloat. God has given us much. Jesus has given us his very self. We celebrate the gifts of Jesus Christ every time we come to communion. Yet, we often come to communion with empty hands. Jesus gives us himself, what do we have to offer? As we go to communion on the first Sunday of each month, I ask that we give a love offering (there will be special envelopes in your bulletin). You don’t have to give much, just give of yourself. Remember this is a gift to help those in need. This is an offering to the Christ who has given us his very being, his blood and his body.
